My Husband Got My Best Friend Pregnant, But After They Did A DNA Test I Had The Last Laugh
The story starts below
I had thought Alex and I were happily married. Our tenth wedding anniversary was coming up, too. It had been the reason why I hadn’t seen it coming.
I was too much in my bubble of happiness, but when the news came, that bubble shattered and brought me to the harsh reality.
Not only did he cheat on me with my childhood best friend Bethany, but he also had gotten her pregnant.
My world had started to crumble; however, that was until the truth came to light with the DNA results as I would find to have the last laugh.
Fairytale Lovestory
You know, I had always thought my marriage was perfect. We were childhood friends that turned into something more.
It almost was something out of a fairytale. He was the handsome jock, and I was the valedictorian of our year.
Our parents had always supported our relationship, but I bet mine wouldn’t if they knew how it would pan out and how blind I would become.
Married out of High School
We married right out of high school, and though he offered, or rather pressured, for me to stay home and start a family with him, I was adamant about getting a degree.
I wanted children with him, a family, but I also knew that it wasn’t in my nature to stay home. He joined me, playing sports near where I studied, and it was perfect, or so I thought.
Hadn’t Seen It Coming
I had been so blind. Stupid, blind, and naive not to have seen it. Bethany had joined me in college, and the three of us had gotten an apartment together.
It had been cheaper, and we all knew each other, but apparently, it had started there. I had just liked the fact that the two most important people in my life got along and hadn’t looked into it.
Big mistake…
Didn’t Think Anything of It
Alex, Beth, and I had become the three musketeers, the ABC, Alexander, Bethany, and Clara. Though I was the only one who got a degree out of the experience, it didn’t lessen the love we all held for each other, though theirs was a bit stronger than I would have liked now, come to think of it.
However, their betrayal would serve them the ultimate karma.
